Sunday Morning
Speaker: Pastor Hildreth

Scripture References: John 18:37; 1 Timothy 1:15; Luke 5:32; Matthew 8:28-32; John 14:12; Philippians 4:8; John 15:22; John 9:41; John 18:37
Some key points from the sermon:
-
Jesus had perfect timing.
-
Jesus came with a cause.
-
A vision is personal, but a cause is bigger than any one person. There are many differences between a vision and a cause. A cause is bigger. Jesus came with a cause.
-
Jesus came to change our direction and lives. He came to eliminate excuses for sin.
-
Conviction acts as a roadblock to our actions. When we confront conviction we can ignore it and continue on down a destructive path, or we can turn around and find the right path.
-
We need repentance. A change of cource.
-
It is important that we conform to the image of Jesus Christ.
-
Jesus takes ordinary people and uses them miraculously.
-
God can use you, an ordinary person, in extraordinary circumstances!
-
This cause causes you to activate your faith in Christ.
-
It can be hard to love people. Christ demands us to love people for the cause.
-
We must walk in the power and cause of Jesus Christ.
-
Jesus came to give significance to men. The world tries to defile our bodies as our bodies are the temple of the holy spirit.
-
We will be used by God if we are willing to decrease as he increases.
-
Life is important. People are important. Feelings are important. We must show respect to God's creation. We must not hate people only hate sin.
-
We must let go of Sin in our lives. Pride, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness are all sin and Christ has removed our excuses. He will give us the strength to change.
-
We can't do it of ourselves, but in him all things are possible.
